May, 2013-- UtiliWorks' applauds the City of Ruston for the completion of their Smart Grid Investment Grant program. The City of Ruston completed the three year, $8.77M project on time and on budget. December, 2014-- Dave Shpigler joins the UtiliWorks team as a Principal. In joining UtiliWorks, Dave has merged his firm The Shpigler Group, a strategic-management consulting firm, with UtiliWorks. Dave's experience in the utility industry spans over 15 years, during which time he has provided leadership and vision in formulating long-term strategic focus to nearly 250 utilities and related system developers. Dave will continue his work with UtiliWorks as a leading expert in financial and operational modeling of programs including smart grid, advanced metering, distributed energy resources, and electric vehicles.
November, 2014--Joe Kelly joins the UtiliWorks team as an Field Engineer/Project Manager. Joe will provide support to UWC's West Coast projects. Joe has a strong background in AMR/AMI and smart meter project management and deployments.
October, 2014--Zijun (Agnes) Tu joins the UtiliWorks team as an Analyst. Agnes provides support to the financial and operational analysis practice of the UtiliWorks team. Agnes' background includes developing fundamental and technical market research, financial analysis, and implementing customer service plans.
September, 2014--Joe Gaspard joins the UtiliWorks team as an Associate. Joe provides support at all stages of client engagement, from business development to research and analysis. Joe's background includes experience modeling venture financings for emerging growth companies, as well as developing digital marketing strategies for real estate development firms.
August, 2014-- Mark Windus joins the UtiliWorks team as an Associate. Mark brings over 13 years of senior level project management and consulting experience for utility customers. Mark's background also includes 15 years managing the financial and operational performance of telecommunications services at the General Manager and Director Level. Mark is a proven leader, successful at motivating fellow associates and implementing programs that exceed customer expectations.
October, 2013-- Athens Silaban joins the UtiliWorks team as a Consultant- Inside Sales. Athens provides support and coordination for the UtiliWorks Sales team and the Service Delivery team. His key responsibilities include leading and managing proposal development efforts. In addition, Athens provides support on procedures, methods, and tools with the goal of maximizing the capacity and quality of the Sales Teams efforts.
September, 2013-- Jennifer Efferson joins the Utiliworks team as Business Office Administrator. She will be managing affairs related to office operations and communications/ reporting between the different divisions in UtiliWorks. Jennifer has excellent communication skills, as well as over 7 years of experience in Office and Project Management.
February, 2013-- Tom Grim joins the UtiliWorks team as a Principal Consultant. He will bring his experience in all aspects of metering from project conception and RFP to project management, configuration and testing of various MDM and Collection Engine systems. Tom has previously worked on AMI/ Smart Grid Implementation, Meter Data Management Systems, Communication Technology and project management for large Industry Owned Utilities, Commissions and other utility-focused companies.
January, 2013-- Tanu Jacob joins the UtiliWorks team as the Business Development Manager. Her responsibilities include opportunity qualification, proposal management, and marketing campaign development. She actively presents and participates at industry events. Tanu has over 12 years of successful management in the business development sector for Fortune 100 and 500 companies, as well as experience in the telecom and automotive industries.
January, 2013-- Ed Miller joins the UtiliWorks team as the Service Deliver Director. His responsibilities include defining requirements, developing business cases, recruiting personnel, allocating resources and ensuring all project deliverables are met. Ed has deep experience leading complex projects and project teams in the telecommunications and M2M sectors prior to joining UtiliWorks.
